Luhansk People's Republic
The Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) is an autonomous region in eastern Ukraine that declared independence in 2014 amid conflict between Ukrainian government forces and pro-Russian separatists. While it claims to be a sovereign state, it is widely considered a breakaway entity supported by Russia but not recognized internationally. The LPR has its own local government structures, but its authority is limited, and it remains embroiled in ongoing conflicts affecting regional stability and Ukraine's territorial integrity.
