Lufengosaurus huenei

Lufengosaurus huenei was a early Jurassic dinosaur that lived about 200 million years ago in what is now China. It was a medium-sized, herbivorous reptile with a long neck and tail, and a relatively small head. It belonged to the group of dinosaurs called sauropodomorphs, which are ancestors to the giant long-necked sauropods. Lufengosaurus was likely a gentle, plant-eating animal that moved on two legs and possibly some four-legged walking. Its fossils help scientists understand the early evolution of dinosaurs and how these animals adapted to their environments millions of years ago.
