Ludwik Zamenhof

Ludwik Zamenhof was a Polish ophthalmologist and linguist born in 1859, best known for creating Esperanto, a constructed international auxiliary language. His goal was to foster communication and understanding among people of different native languages, promoting peace and cooperation.
