Ludovico Gonzaga

Ludovico Gonzaga (1474–1540) was an Italian nobleman and military leader from the prominent Gonzaga family. He served as the Marquis of Mantua, a significant Italian city-state during the Renaissance. Known for his political skill and patronage of the arts, Ludovico played a key role in balancing power among Italian states and supporting artists like Leonardo da Vinci.
