Ludhiana Stock Exchange

Ludhiana Stock Exchange (LSE) was a regional stock exchange based in Ludhiana, India, serving local investors and traders. It provided a platform for buying and selling securities, facilitating capital mobilization for regional companies. In 2012, it was integrated into the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) to unify trading activities nationwide. LSE played a role in fostering regional economic growth, offering local businesses access to capital markets, and providing investment opportunities for residents. Although no longer operational as an independent exchange, its history reflects India's efforts to develop regional financial markets.
