LPC Analysis

LPC (Linear Predictive Coding) analysis is a technique used to examine and model speech signals by estimating how each sound is produced. It predicts the current audio sample based on past samples, capturing the unique characteristics of a person's voice. This method simplifies complex sounds into a set of parameters that represent the vocal tract's shape and behavior, enabling efficient compression, synthesis, and recognition of speech. Essentially, LPC helps us understand and recreate speech by analyzing how sounds are generated from the vocal system.
