Louis-Philippe I

Louis-Philippe I was King of France from 1830 to 1848. He came to power after the July Revolution, which ended the reign of the Bourbon king and established a constitutional monarchy. Known as the "Citizen King," he favored a more bourgeois and moderate approach, representing the wealthy middle class. His rule focused on balancing royal authority with liberal reforms, but over time, economic problems and social unrest grew. Ultimately, widespread dissatisfaction led to the February Revolution of 1848, forcing him to abdicate and ending the monarchy in France.
