Louis-Joseph de Montcalm

Louis-Joseph de Montcalm was a French military leader in the 18th century, known for defending French interests in North America during the Seven Years' War. He commanded French forces in Canada and fought against the British, who were trying to take control of territories. Montcalm is remembered for his strategic skill and leadership during key battles, particularly at Quebec. He was killed in 1759 during the Battle of the Plains of Abraham, a decisive fight that led to British dominance in Canada.
