Los Templarios

Los Templarios, or the Knights Templar, were a medieval Christian military order founded in the 12th century to protect pilgrims traveling to Jerusalem. They combined military prowess with financial activities, creating an early banking system that supported crusades. Over time, their wealth and influence grew, which led to suspicion and eventual suppression by monarchies in the 14th century. Today, they are often associated with legends and secret societies, but historically, they played a significant role in medieval warfare, finance, and religious life.
