Lorillard

Lorillard was a major American tobacco company, founded in 1865, known for producing cigarettes and cigars. It became famous for its flagship cigarette brand, Newport, which was particularly popular among certain demographics. Over the years, Lorillard expanded its product lineup and became one of the largest tobacco companies in the U.S. In 2015, Lorillard was acquired by Reynolds American, another big tobacco company.
