Lord of Sipán

The Lord of Sipán is a famous ancient mummy and treasure found in northern Peru, dating back to around 300 AD. It belonged to a wealthy and powerful ruler of the Moche civilization, who was buried with intricate gold, silver, and ceremonial objects. The discovery in 1987 by archaeologist Walter Alva provided valuable insights into the culture, social hierarchy, and artistic skills of the Moche people.
