Longform Improv

Longform improv is a style of improvisational theater where performers create an extended, coherent story or scene based on audience suggestions. Unlike short-form improv, which involves quick, standalone games or scenes, longform develops characters, relationships, and plotlines over a longer duration, often lasting 20 minutes or more. The focus is on building a compelling narrative spontaneously, relying on improv skills, collaboration, and storytelling intuition. It emphasizes organic scene development and character consistency, allowing for deeper engagement and more complex storytelling while maintaining the spontaneity and humor inherent in improvisational theater.
