London Transport Board

The London Transport Board was a government agency established in 1963 to oversee public transportation across Greater London. It managed buses, trains, and underground services, coordinating efforts to improve and unify transport options for the city. The Board aimed to streamline operations, develop infrastructure, and provide reliable, efficient transit to support London's growing population and economy. In 1969, it was replaced by the London Transport Executive to further focus on managing London's transport system.
