Logical Problem of Evil
The Logical Problem of Evil argues that if an all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-good God exists, then evil should not exist in the world. The reasoning is that a benevolent God would want to prevent evil and could do so. Since we see suffering and injustice in the world, this seems to challenge the existence of such a God. Philosophers use this argument to question the compatibility of divine attributes with the presence of evil, leading to deep discussions about faith, morality, and the nature of God.
