Locust Lifecycle
The locust lifecycle consists of three main stages: egg, nymph, and adult. Eggs are laid in the soil and hatch into nymphs, which resemble small, wingless versions of adults. Nymphs go through several molts, growing larger each time. Once fully grown, they develop wings and become adults, capable of flight and reproduction. Adult locusts can form large swarms, causing significant agricultural damage. This cycle from egg to mature locust usually takes a few weeks, depending on environmental conditions.
