Local Spiritual Assemblies
Local Spiritual Assemblies are elected groups that organize and coordinate the activities of the Bahá’í community in a specific geographic area. Comprising nine members, they function autonomously, guiding community efforts such as worship, education, and social service, based on Bahá’í principles. They do not have religious authority but serve as institutions that support individual growth and collective progress, fostering unity and service. These assemblies operate without clergy or hierarchical oversight, emphasizing consultation, collaboration, and the promotion of spiritual development within their community.
