Local Safeguarding Boards

Local Safeguarding Boards are community-level groups that bring together organizations, such as social services, police, health services, and schools, to work together in protecting children and vulnerable adults. Their main goal is to ensure that everyone involved in caring for these individuals communicates effectively, shares information, and coordinates efforts to prevent harm and respond quickly when concerns arise. By pooling resources and expertise, Local Safeguarding Boards help create safer environments and better support systems for those at risk within the community.
