Local Emergency Planning Committee

A Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is a group of community representatives, including government officials, industry experts, and residents, that works together to prepare for and respond to emergencies involving hazardous materials. They develop emergency plans, ensure proper safety measures, and coordinate communication efforts to protect people and the environment.
