LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) terminals
LNG terminals are facilities that handle the processing, storage, and transportation of liquefied natural gas. Natural gas is cooled to around -162°C to become a liquid, reducing its volume for easier and more efficient shipping across long distances. The terminal’s infrastructure includes equipment to liquefy the gas at the origin and to regasify it at the destination, where it’s turned back into gas for use in homes, industries, and power plants. These terminals play a crucial role in global energy trade, enabling countries to import and export natural gas safely and efficiently.
