Lizzie Siddal
Lizzie Siddal was a 19th-century English artist and poet, best known as a model for the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, a group of talented painters who sought to revive medieval and early Renaissance styles. She gained fame for her striking red hair and delicate features, often posing for artist Dante Gabriel Rossetti, who also became her lover. Siddal was also a talented artist and writer herself. Her life was marked by struggles with mental health and tragedy; she died at age 32 from an overdose. Today, she is remembered as both an influential muse and contributor to Victorian art and literature.
