Liz Cheney

Liz Cheney is an American politician and lawyer who served as a U.S. Representative for Wyoming from 2017 to 2023. She is a member of the Republican Party and is known for her conservative views, especially on national security and foreign policy. Cheney is also recognized for her strong stance on holding President Donald Trump accountable for his role in the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack, which led to her loss in her 2022 re-election bid. She comes from a prominent political family—her father, Dick Cheney, was Vice President of the United States.
