
Livius Andronicus
Livius Andronicus was an ancient Greek-born Roman playwright and poet who lived around the 3rd century BCE. He is credited with translating Greek literary works into Latin and is considered one of the founders of Latin literature. His adaptations included the earliest Latin versions of Greek tragedies and comedies, as well as original plays and epic poetry.
