Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) simulation refers to different methods of training and testing systems using combined real and computer-generated environments. "Live" involves actual personnel and equipment operating in real-world scenarios. "Virtual" uses computer-generated environments to simulate scenarios with human participants remotely engaged. "Constructive" involves computer simulations where scenarios are fully automated, with no human directly involved. Integrating these approaches allows comprehensive, realistic training and testing of complex systems—such as military operations—by blending real-world actions, interactive virtual environments, and automated simulations for better preparedness and decision-making.
