Lithium-ion technology

Lithium-ion technology uses rechargeable batteries where lithium ions move between two electrodes—the anode and cathode—through a liquid electrolyte. When charging, lithium ions flow from the cathode to the anode, storing energy. During use, they travel back to the cathode, releasing stored energy to power devices. These batteries are popular because they have a high energy density (store a lot of energy relative to their size), last many charge cycles, and maintain a stable voltage. They are commonly found in smartphones, laptops, electric vehicles, and renewable energy systems, offering efficient and reliable energy storage.
