
Lisa P. Jackson
Lisa P. Jackson is an American environmental policy expert and former government official. She served as the Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from 2009 to 2013 under President Barack Obama, where she focused on climate change, pollution control, and public health. Jackson was the first African American to hold this position. Prior to her role at the EPA, she worked in New Jersey's Department of Environmental Protection. After leaving the EPA, she has been involved in various environmental initiatives and corporate sustainability efforts, promoting clean energy and responsible environmental practices.
