Liquid natural gas (LNG)
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is natural gas that has been cooled to around -162°C (-260°F), turning it into a clear, colorless liquid. This process reduces its volume by about 600 times, making it easier and more economical to transport over long distances where pipelines aren't feasible. Once it reaches its destination, LNG is warmed back into gaseous form for use in heating, electricity generation, or as fuel. LNG provides a cleaner-burning energy source compared to coal or oil, helping reduce emissions and meet global energy demands efficiently.
