Liquid Methane
Liquid methane is methane gas that has been cooled below its boiling point (-161°C or -258°F) to become a clear, colorless, and very cold liquid. It's used as a fuel source, especially for space missions and potential energy storage because it packs a lot of energy in a small volume. When warmed, it turns back into gas and can be burned to produce heat or electricity. Liquid methane is also found naturally on planets like Mars and moons like Titan, making it valuable for future exploration and potential in-situ resource utilization.
