Liquid Crystal Display

A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is a screen technology that uses liquid crystals to produce images. These crystals can change their alignment when an electric current is applied, controlling how light passes through them. The screen has a backlight that shines through layers of polarizers, color filters, and liquid crystals, creating images visible to the eye. LCDs are used in monitors, TVs, smartphones, and more because they are slim, energy-efficient, and capable of displaying sharp, colorful visuals. Essentially, they manipulate liquid crystal molecules to control light and color, forming the images we see.
