Liquid CO2
Liquid carbon dioxide (CO₂) is CO₂ that has been compressed and cooled to become a dense, liquid state, typically at temperatures below -78.5°C (-109.3°F). It is used in various industries, such as for transporting and storing CO₂ efficiently, as a food and beverage additive (like in soda), or in cleaning and shooting applications. When exposed to warmer temperatures or reduced pressure, liquid CO₂ quickly turns back into gas, making it useful for controlled releases or sublimation processes. Its unique properties allow it to serve many practical purposes while being environmentally safer than some chemicals.
