Lippershey telescope

The Lippershey telescope, invented by Hans Lippershey in 1608, is one of the first practical telescopes. It uses a combination of lenses to magnify distant objects, allowing people to see details that are not visible to the naked eye. By placing a convex lens (which focuses light) at one end and a concave lens (which helps magnify the image) at the other, it created a tool that revolutionized astronomy and exploration. This design laid the groundwork for modern telescopes, enabling significant advancements in our understanding of the universe.
