Linguistic Determinism

Linguistic determinism is the idea that the language we speak shapes how we think and perceive the world. According to this theory, language can limit or influence our thoughts, beliefs, and experiences. For example, if a language has no word for a particular concept, speakers might find it harder to understand or express that concept. This perspective suggests that our understanding of reality is partly constructed by the linguistic framework we use, leading to different interpretations and experiences based on the language one speaks.
