Linear System Theory

Linear System Theory studies how systems respond to inputs when their behavior follows the principle of superposition—that is, responses to combined inputs can be understood as the sum of responses to individual inputs. It applies to a wide range of systems like electrical circuits, mechanical devices, and control systems, enabling us to predict outcomes, analyze stability, and design optimal controls. Essentially, it provides a mathematical framework to understand and manage systems where outputs are proportionally related to inputs, making complex behaviors more understandable and predictable.
