Light Sources
Light sources are devices or objects that produce visible light, enabling us to see and illuminate spaces. They can generate light through various methods, such as incandescence (heating a filament until it glows), luminescence (chemical or electrical excitation causing light emission), or fluorescence (absorbing light at one wavelength and re-emitting it at another). Examples include the sun, light bulbs, LEDs, and fluorescent lamps. Different sources emit different qualities of light—like warmth, brightness, and color—making them suitable for diverse applications from everyday lighting to specialized technical uses.
