light source

A light source is any object or device that emits light, illuminating its surroundings. It can produce light through various mechanisms, such as incandescence (heating a material until it glows), luminescence (emitting light from a chemical or electrical process), or other methods like fluorescence. Common examples include the sun, light bulbs, candles, and LEDs. The light emitted helps us see by illuminating objects, and the quality of the light—color, intensity, and direction—depends on the type of source and its design.
