Lifebuoy

Lifebuoy is a type of life-saving device used in water emergencies to help a person stay afloat and be rescued. Typically made of buoyant materials like foam or cork, it surrounds a person who has fallen into water, preventing drowning by providing additional support. Lifebuoys are often ring-shaped with a rope attached for easy handling and throwing. They are commonly found on ships, docks, and near swimming pools as safety equipment. When thrown to someone in distress, they help keep the person afloat until rescue or help arrives.
