Libyan language
The term "Libyan language" generally refers to the languages historically spoken in Libya, particularly the Berber languages, which are part of the Afro-Asiatic language family. The most notable of these is Tamazight, a language used by the indigenous Amazigh (Berber) people. Additionally, Arabic is the official language of Libya and is widely spoken due to historical and cultural influences. In modern times, there has been a resurgence of interest in Berber languages and culture, especially after the 2011 revolution, which has encouraged efforts to preserve and promote these languages.
