LHC Run 3

LHC Run 3 is the third phase of experiments at the Large Hadron Collider, the world’s largest particle accelerator near Geneva. During this period, scientists collide protons at unprecedented energies to explore fundamental questions about the universe, such as the nature of dark matter and the origins of mass. Running from 2022 onward, Run 3 features upgraded equipment for more precise measurements and higher collision rates, enabling researchers to gather detailed data about particles and forces.
