LGBTQ+ Military Personnel

LGBTQ+ military personnel are individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or other diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, serving in the armed forces. They contribute to the military just like their heterosexual and cisgender counterparts but may face unique challenges related to acceptance, policies, and support. Many countries have policies to ensure non-discrimination and inclusion, recognizing that diverse identities strengthen unit cohesion and morale.
