LGBTQ+ identity

LGBTQ+ is an umbrella term that describes a diverse range of sexual orientations and gender identities. It includes, but is not limited to, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, and other identities that don't fit traditional norms. These identities relate to who people are attracted to or how they experience their gender. Respecting LGBTQ+ identities means recognizing and affirming each person's self-identified preferences and experiences, promoting equality and understanding in society. The "+" acknowledges all other identities and orientations beyond the core initials, emphasizing inclusivity and recognition of diversity within the community.
