LGBT couples
LGBT couples are romantic partners who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. Lesbian couples consist of women, gay couples of men, bisexual individuals may be attracted to more than one gender, and transgender individuals may identify differently from the sex they were assigned at birth. These couples may form committed relationships, marry, or raise families, just like heterosexual couples. Their relationships are based on love, partnership, and mutual support, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. Recognizing LGBT couples promotes understanding, equality, and respect within society.
