Lewis Libby
Lewis Libby is an American lawyer and former government official who served as a chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney. He was involved in national security and intelligence matters during the early 2000s, particularly related to the Iraq War and investigations into confidential government information. In 2007, Libby was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice for lying during a political investigation, but his sentence was later commuted by the President. His case highlighted issues of political accountability and the handling of classified information in the U.S. government.
