Leventhal Syndrome

Leventhal Syndrome is a condition characterized by the appearance of multiple seborrheic keratoses, which are benign, wart-like skin growths. These growths often emerge suddenly and in large numbers, typically in middle-aged or older adults. While they are harmless on their own, Leventhal Syndrome can serve as a warning sign of an underlying internal cancer, most commonly gastrointestinal cancers like stomach or colon cancer. Recognizing these skin changes can prompt medical evaluation for hidden internal malignancies, making the skin findings an important clue in diagnosing more serious health issues.
