Lender

A lender is an individual or institution that provides funds to another party, typically in the form of a loan, with the expectation that it will be repaid later, often with interest. Lenders can be banks, credit unions, or private individuals. They assess the borrower’s ability to repay the loan through credit checks and other evaluations. Common examples of lending include mortgages for buying a home and personal loans for various expenses. The lender's goal is to earn a return on the money they lend while helping borrowers finance their needs or investments.
