Lencioni's Model

Lencioni’s Model, often called the "Five Dysfunctions of a Team," identifies common issues that hinder team effectiveness. These are: absence of trust, fear of conflict, lack of commitment, avoidance of accountability, and inattention to results. When trust is lacking, team members hold back, leading to fear of open discussion. Without healthy conflict, ideas aren’t fully explored, causing a lack of commitment. If members are not committed, accountability suffers, and team goals aren’t prioritized. Finally, ignoring results reduces overall success. Addressing these areas helps teams work better together, build trust, and achieve shared goals.
