The Leiden Culture, also known as the Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age culture in the Netherlands (around 2400-1700 BCE), was characterized by advancements in pottery, agriculture, and settlement organization. People of this culture built more permanent villages, practiced farming, and created distinctive decorated pottery. They also engaged in trade and had intricate burial practices, reflecting social structures. The Leiden Culture represents a period of increased societal complexity, technological innovation, and cultural development during the late Neolithic to early Bronze Age in northwest Europe.
