Learning from Demonstration
Learning from Demonstration (LfD) is a method where computers or robots learn how to perform tasks by observing human demonstrations. Instead of programming every step, the system watches how a person completes a task and then tries to imitate those actions. This approach makes teaching machines more intuitive, especially for complex or nuanced tasks that are hard to specify with explicit instructions. Essentially, LfD allows robots to learn skills in a way similar to learning by watching, enabling more natural and flexible interactions between humans and machines.
