Le Verrier

U فرانسوا سيدنى لي ڤيرييه was a French mathematician and astronomer best known for predicting the existence of Neptune. In the mid-19th century, he analyzed irregularities in Uranus’s orbit, which couldn’t be explained by known planets. Using mathematical calculations, he deduced there must be another, unseen planet exerting gravitational influence. His prediction led to the discovery of Neptune in 1846, marking a significant achievement in celestial mechanics.
