LDS Theology

LDS (Latter-day Saint) theology emphasizes that God is a loving Heavenly Father with a corporeal body, and Jesus Christ is His literal Son, central to salvation. Humans are children of God with divine potential, capable of becoming like Him. The church teaches that faith, repentance, baptism, and ongoing spiritual growth are essential for eternal life. It also recognizes ongoing revelation through modern prophets. Additionally, LDS doctrine stresses the importance of family, eternal marriage, and service, believing that God's plan allows individuals to progress spiritually and ultimately return to His presence.
