Law of Non-Contradiction

The Law of Non-Contradiction states that a statement cannot be both true and false at the same time and in the same sense. In other words, something cannot simultaneously hold two opposite properties or conditions. For example, if we say "The light is on," it cannot also be true that "The light is off" in the same context. This principle helps us maintain logical consistency, ensuring our statements and beliefs do not contradict each other, and provides a foundation for clear reasoning and effective communication.
