latter-day prophets

Latter-day prophets are individuals believed by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) to be chosen by God to receive divine guidance, reveal His will, and lead the church today. They serve as spiritual leaders who provide direction on faith, morality, and church doctrine, continuing the pattern of biblical prophets. These leaders are seen as prophets in the same sense as those in ancient times, but their teachings are relevant to contemporary challenges and circumstances. Their role is to help followers draw closer to God and understand His plan for humanity.
